India reports 5,326 COVID cases in 24 hrs; active cases decline to 79,097

India recorded 5,326 new COVID-19 cases, along with 453 deaths due to the infection in the past 24 hours. According to the data shared by the Union Health Ministry on Tuesday, the country saw a total of 8,043 discharges, taking the total number of recoveries to 3,41,95,060.
