The pandemic surge continues. The number of daily fresh Covid-19 cases in India touched another peak with over 4.14 lakh cases reported on Thursday, while the number of Covid-related deaths during the last 24 hours almost touched four thousand (3,927). For the last 10 days, the daily number of deaths has been consistently high at over three thousand. An average of 150 Indians are dying every hour due to Covid-19.
