Farmers' stir: Kejriwal observes day-long fast; urges Centre to scrap agri laws

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will today observe a fast in solidarity with the farmers protesting against the Centre's new farm laws. The chief minister has also appealed to the Central government to scrap the legislations. Addressing a virtual press briefing on Sunday, Kejriwal had said he will hold one-day fast on Monday in response to a call given by the agitating farmers and urged his Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) volunteers, supporters as well as the people of the country to join in. He also asked the Centre bring a Bill to guarantee minimum support price (MSP) for agricultural produce.
