UP: Congress leader among 2 killed in cylinder blast in Meerut

Two persons, including a local Congress leader were killed in a blast in Uttar Pradesh's Meerut. According to the details, the blast was reported at a firecracker-making unit in the Sardhana area of Meerut, on Thursday. The deceased Congress leader was identified as Asim Khan. The impact of the blast was so strong that the house of the Congress city unit chief, where the illegal factory was allegedly being run, came down and several adjoining houses and shops were also damaged.
