Punjab student suicide: The Lovely Professional University student, who died by suicide on Tuesday, named his previous professor Prasad Krishna from NIT, Calicut, in the suicide note, reported news agency ANI.

Amanatullah Khan case: A Delhi court on Wednesday sent Amanatullah Khan to a 5-day remand after the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) had sought 10 days of custody of AAP MLA. The Bureau told the court that Khan has been very evasive during questioning.

DGCA SpiceJet order: The aviation regulator, Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), has asked budget airline SpiceJet to continue operating only limited flights for now as a precautionary measure. As per DGCA order, the restrictions were extended as a matter of "abundant caution." The airline has been told to operate only 50 per cent of departures until October 29, 2022.
