Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday arrived here in Italy to participate in the G20 Summit. In Rome, Prime Minister Modi will hold discussions on global economic and health recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic. India recorded 14,348 new cases of the novel coronavirus, along with 805 deaths due to the infection in the past 24 hours. According to the data shared by the Union Health Ministry on Friday, the country saw a total of 13,198 discharges in the last 24 hours, taking the total recovery rate at around 98.20 per cent which is the highest since March 2020 and total recoveries data reached to 3,36,27,632.
Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain has said 97 per cent of people in the national capital have developed antibodies against Covid-19. According to Jain, the sixth serological survey found that all the 11 districts have a seroprevalence of more than 93 per cent. Four districts south, central, northeast and east have recorded a seropositivity rate of 99 per cent, 99.5 per cent, 99.7 per cent and 99.8 per cent, respectively.
