Kerala blasts: Death count reaches four after 61-year-old woman succumbs to injuries

Kerala blasts: With the death of a 61-year-old woman, the death count from the blasts that occurred at a Christian religious gathering in Kochi a week ago has risen to four. According to the information, the elderly woman succumbed to her injuries. She was identified as Moly Joy from Kalamassery, and died at a private hospital in the early hours of Monday. According to a hospital spokesperson, she had suffered over 70 per cent burns in the blast that occurred at a religious gathering on October 29 and was on ventilator support.

Snakes being smuggled into India through these codewords, international racket busted

New Delhi: Famous YouTuber and Bigg Boss fame Elvish Yadav is embroiled in snake smuggling case. Meanwhile, the agency investigating the drug cartel has made a big revelation in its investigation regarding smuggling of snakes and drugs made from their venom. During the investigation, the agencies came to know that drug peddlers use special code words to deceive the agency. Yadav, a popular YouTuber and social media influencer, refuted the charges and expressed his willingness to cooperate with police in the investigation, even as BJP MP and environmentalist Maneka Gandhi called for his arrest. Nine snakes, including cobras, were rescued from the possession of the arrested accused who came to a banquet hall in Sector 51 here on Thursday for a party, which was a trap laid by animal rights group People for Animals (PFA), the officials said.

'Stop calling me 'My Lord' and I will...': Supreme Court judge tells senior advocate during hearing

A Supreme Court judge has expressed displeasure at being repeatedly addressed as "My Lord" and "Your Lordships" by lawyers during court sessions. Justice PS Narasimha, who was sitting on the bench with senior presiding judge Justice AS Bopanna, told a senior advocate that he would give him his half of the salary if the latter stopped referring to him as "My Lord."
