Delhi court adjourns hearing in wrestlers' sexual harassment case, posts matter on Oct 19

Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court on Monday (October 16) adjourned the case after hearing part arguments on behalf of BJP MP and former WFI president Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh in the sexual harassment case filed on the basis of complaints filed by several prominent female wrestlers.

ED attaches assets worth over Rs 315 crore in money laundering case against former Maharashtra NCP MP

The Enforcement Directorate on Sunday said that it has attached land and other items worth over Rs 315 crore as part of an alleged bank fraud in connection with money laundering probe against a former NCP MP from Maharashtra, his family and businesses.

Muslim leader appeals for peace amid Israel-Hamas war

Israel-Hamas war: The ongoing war between Israel and Hamas has claimed at least 2,800 lives on both sides since Hamas launched an incursion on October 7. Meanwhile, Israel's military ordered hundreds of thousands of civilians living in Gaza City to evacuate Friday ahead of a feared Israel ground offensive. The orders from the Israeli military came on the heels of what the United Nations said was a warning they received from Israel to evacuate 1.1 million people living in northern Gaza within 24 hours. In view of the current situation, a few Muslim leaders in India have appealed to the Muslim community to pray and recite Qunut Nazla.
