Asia's largest tulip garden, situated on the banks of Dal Lake in Srinagar, attracted 3.7 lakh tourists this season setting a new record. The tourists were seen visiting from far and wide regions including Argentina, Thailand and European countries among others.

Poonch terror attack: Terrorists used steel bullets, decamped with soldiers' weapons

Poonch terror attack: The terrorists who ambushed an Army truck in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch used steel core bullets, capable of piercing an armoured shield, and decamped with the soldiers' weapons, officials said on Sunday, amid intensified efforts to trace and neutralise the perpetrators. They said a sniper is believed to have targeted the truck from the front before the other terrorists sprayed bullets and lobbed grenades on it.

Kedarnath yatra: Registration of pilgrims suspended till April 30 amid rain, snowfall

Char Dham Yatra 2023: Due to rain and snowfall in the upper reaches of the Garhwal Himalayas in the past few days, the registration of pilgrims for the Kedarnath yatra has been suspended till April 30 in Rishikesh and Haridwar, said officials on Sunday (April 23). The holy shrine will be opened to the public on April 25.
