Senior Congress leader Shashi Tharoor on Saturday took a jibe at the Animal Welfare Board of India for withdrawing its appeal to celebrate February 14 as 'Cow Hug Day.' Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge hit out at the BJP government on Saturday and said that there was no freedom of speech in the country. Addressing a rally in the Sahebganj district of Jharkhand, Kharge claimed that parts of his speech in Parliament were expunged. The National Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation (NTAGI) met on Saturday to discuss the incusion of Covovax vaccine for adults on the CoWin portal, official sources said.
