Cyclone Jowad likely to reach Odisha coast on December 4, evacuation efforts underway

The Odisha government on Wednesday asked collecters of 13 districts to prepare for the evacuation of the people, cyclonic storm Jowad is likely to reach the Odisha coast on December 4. The state government has chalked out a disaster management strategy by requisitioning NDRF, ODRAF, and fire department personnel for rescue and relief operations.

Serum Institute seeks Covishield's booster dose approval from DCGI

Omicron threat: Six international passengers from 'at-risk' countries found Covid-19 positive in Maharashtra

At least six international passengers who arrived from 'at-risk' countries including South Africa have tested positive for Covid-19 in Maharashtra. Three of the six have been traced to the Mumbai, Kalyan-Dombivali and Meera-Bhayandar areas. The fourth case was reported in Pune and two others in Pimpri-Chinchwad.

November records lowest number of fresh COVID-19 cases in India since May last year
