India logs 10,302 COVID cases, over 11,000 recoveries in 24 hrs; active cases at 531-day low of 1.24 lakh

COVID-19 India Live News Updates: India recorded 10,302 new cases of the novel coronavirus, along with 267 deaths due to the infection in the past 24 hours. According to the data shared by the Union Health Ministry on Saturday, the country saw a total of 11,787 discharges in the last 24 hours, taking the total recovery rate at around 98.28 per cent which is the highest since March 2020 and total recoveries data reached to 3,39,09,708.

21 luxury cars worth Rs 5 crore recovered, racket run from Dubai busted

With the arrest of four men, the Delhi Police on Friday claimed to have busted a gang involved in stealing luxury cars and selling those all over the country, including in Manipur and Indore. The kingpin of the racket, Sharik Hussain, was running the gang from Dubai. Twenty-one luxury cars worth around Rs 5 crore have been recovered, police said.

Radioactive cargo shipping from Pakistan to China seized at Gujarat's Mundra port

Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ) on Friday said a joint Customs and Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) team seized several containers at Mundra Port from a foreign vessel on concerns that they contained undeclared hazardous cargo. The seized hazardous cargo containers were en route from Karachi in Pakistan to Shanghai in China, and the containers were not destined for Mundra Port.
