Those with COVID history now contributing to diabetes cases, says Indraprastha Apollo Hospital

At least 25 per cent of newly reported diabetes cases have a confirmed history of COVID-19, Indraprastha Apollo Hospital authorities said on Friday citing its OPD data of close to two years. They said that in people with a confirmed history of moderate to severe coronavirus infection, various recurring and new health ailments have been reported.

Pakistan High Commission issues 3,000 visas to Indian Sikh pilgrims

J&K: Suicide bomber among three terrorists killed in two encounters

Three terrorists, including a 'fidayeen' (suicide bomber), were killed in two separate encounters in Jammu and Kashmir, police said on Friday, taking the number of ultras killed so far this year to 133. A 'Mujahideen Gazwatul Hind' militant who was assigned to carry out a 'fidayeen' (suicide) attack in Srinagar was killed, while a Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) district commander was among the two ultras slain in an encounter in Kulgam, the police said.
