Delhi to host regional dialogue on Afghanistan today; NSAs of 8 countries to participate

Even as Pakistan and China are not taking part in a regional dialogue on Afghanistan hosted by Delhi today, NSAs of seven countries will participate in the first-of-its-kind dialogue which will focus on security-related issues and is distinct from foreign-ministry led talks. National Security Advisers or Secretaries of Security Councils of five central Asian countries - Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan besides Russia and Iran - will attend the Delhi meet on Afghanistan.

Delhi's air quality remains 'very poor'; CPCB suggests cleaning of roads, water sprinkling

The air quality in the national capital remained in the "very poor" category on Wednesday with an overall Air Quality Index (AQI) at 382, as per the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting And Research (SAFAR), the forecasting body under the Ministry of Earth Sciences. On Tuesday, the air quality of the national capital was in the 'very poor' category with AQI standing at 372.
