J&K: ULF claims responsibility for 11 civilian killings; asks migrant workers to leave Valley

The United Liberation Front has claimed the responsibility for killing 11 civilians, including two labourers (both migrant workers) in Jammu and Kashmir. Terrorists had shot dead two civilians and injured another in Kulgam on Sunday, the latest in the series of attacks targeting civilians. The information was shared by the Kashmir zone Police said on its Twitter handle, adding the area was cordoned off.

J&K: No order directing district police to relocate non-local labourers; circular fake, says Kashmir IGP

Inspector-General of Police (IGP) of Kashmir Vijay Kumar on Sunday clarified that the order asking district police authorities to relocate non-local labourers to the nearest police and army camps is fake. Earlier in the day, it was allegedly reported that in view of the killings, district police authorities have been directed to bring all non-resident labourers in the valley to the nearest security camps for safety.

In a matter of seconds, the two-storey house, along with its ground floor, tilted and plopped into the gushing river, which swallowed it instantly.

Kerala rains: 6 of family rescued, left homeless after house collapses in Thiruvananthapuram

At least six people, including a 22-day old infant, were rescued by the fire force officials after a concrete wall of a house collapsed in Kerala's Thiruvananthapuram on Sunday. According to the details, the incident took place in Mudavanmugal amid heavy rains in Kerala. Binu, one of the family members said it was raining in the night and the compound wall collapsed and fell over the house.
