BJP MP Varun Gandhi on Sunday warned against attempts to turn the Lakhimapur Kheri incident into a "Hindu vs Sikh battle", saying it is dangerous to create these fault lines and reopen wounds that have taken a generation to heal.

Setback for BJP in Uttarakhand, Minister Yashpal Arya joins Congress ahead of Assembly polls

Senior BJP leader and Minister of Transport in the Uttarakhand government Yashpal Arya on Monday joined the Congress party ahead of the Assembly polls. His son Sanjeev also joined the grand old party in the presence of dormer CM Harish Rawat and All India Congress Committee (AICC) general secretary KC Venugopal in Delhi. Uttarakhand will go to the polls early next year.

Union Bank shocker: Staff asked to follow 'Navratri' dress code or...!

Maharashtra stares at power cuts as 13 plants shut down amid coal shortage

Higher reaches in J&K, Ladakh receive season's first snowfall; temperature drops

India records 18,132 new Covid cases, 193 deaths in a day; positivity rate slips below 1%

India on Monday saw a decline in its daily Covid-19 cases as per the daily data by the Union ministry of health. India reported as many as 18,132 new Covid cases in 24 hours. While in the last 24 hours, India reported 193 deaths, taking the toll to 3,39,71,607.
