The Maharashtra State Association of Resident Doctors (MARD) will go on an indefinite strike from today citing various demands from resident doctors. The strike will be held across the state until said demands are met. However, the Association emphasised that emergency medical services will be continued but no OPD will be served.

India, US on same page on many issues relating to Afghanistan: Jaishankar
India and the US are on the same page on many issues relating to the recent developments in Afghanistan including concerns over the possible use of Afghan soil for terrorism, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said on Thursday. At the same time, he suggested that there are aspects where the positions of the two countries are not exactly the same.
