Afghanistan army collapsed at much faster rate, was unexpected: Top US General Mark Milley
In an apparent admission of messy exit from Afghanistan, General Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff said the "collapse" of the Afghan army, in the face of Taliban offensive, happened at a much faster rate. The United States' role in Afghanistan has come under scanner after the Taliban's swift takeover of Kabul, following an offensive that saw the quick fall of the US-trained Afghan army.

Delhi has been divided into three zones for the city government's ambitious scheme to provide 24X7 water supply to every household by 2024, according to officials. "The entire project area has been divided into three parts -- East and Northeast Zone, South and Southwest Zone, and West and Northwest Zone," an official told PTI.

India reports 42,766 new COVID cases, 308 deaths in last 24 hours; active caseload stands at 4,10,048
India recorded 42,766 new cases of the novel coronavirus, and 308 fatalities due to the infection in the past 24 hours. According to the data shared by the Union Health Ministry on Sunday, the country has the total recovery rate at around 97.42 per cent.
