Opposition parties have decided to visit Jantar Mantar near the Parliament to meet farmers in a bid to express solidarity with them. Farmers are holding 'Kisan Sansad' at the Jantar Mantar to press for their demand to repeal the new farm laws.

1,058-km metro network under construction in 27 cities: Union minister Hardeep Puri

Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs Hardeep Singh Puri on Friday said 1,058 km of the metro network is under construction in 27 cities to boost urban mobility across the country. He was speaking after inaugurating a section of about 289 metres between the Mayur Vihar Pocket 1 and the Trilokpuri Sanjay Lake stations on the Delhi Metro's Pink Line via video-conference.

People, who came for a walk in the morning today, said that the oil in the seawater was flowing towards the shore that has turned sand in black. However, it is still not clear how the oil spilled into the sea water.
