FIR lodged against BJP MP Dharmendra Kashyap for misbehaving with priests at Jageshwar temple

A case has been registered against BJP MP Dharmendra Kashyap and his friends for allegedly misbehaving and abusing the priests at Jageshwar temple in Almora district of Uttarakhand, informed Almora Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Monika.

Schools in Punjab reopen for all classes from today

Schools in Punjab have started conducting physical classes right from pre-primary levels from today, news agency ANI reported. Notably, the government had already allowed reopening of schools for classes 10 to 12 from July 26.

Caste-based census: Nitish Kumar and Tejashwi Yadav on the same page

COVID-19: Kerala records 20,728 fresh infections, 56 deaths

Kerala recorded 20,728 fresh COVID-19 cases on Sunday, pushing the infection caseload to 34,11,489, while 56 more deaths took the toll to 16,837. It is for the sixth day running that the state has recorded more than 20,000 fresh cases. Since July 27 there have been 1,28,373 more infections in the state.
