UP: Arms licenses of several SP leaders cancelled by Etah administration

Acting on a police report, Uttar Pradesh's Etah district administration has cancelled the arms licenses of Samajwadi Party leaders Rameshwar Singh Yadav and Jugendra Singh Yadav and three others.

Border row: Assam CM directs withdrawal of FIR against Mizoram MP as goodwill gesture

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Monday said he has directed state police to withdraw FIR against Rajya Sabha MP K Vanlalvena as a "goodwill gesture" after border clash with Mizoram on July 26 in which six police personnel died. However, he further said that cases against the other police officers will be pursued.

Over 49 crore vaccine doses given to states, 3 crore still unutilised, says Centre

Delhi govt reserves 20% doses of Covishield, 40% doses of Covaxin for 1st shot

The Delhi health department on Sunday issued fresh orders asking district authorities to restrict 20 per cent doses of Covishield and 40 per cent doses of Covaxin for the first shot, officials said. The remaining doses will be reserved for the second shot till the supply situation improves, an official said.
