The mortal remains of former Himachal Pradesh chief minister Virbhadra Singh will be cremated in Rampur here on Saturday, his family spokesperson said. The 87-year-old veteran Congress leader breathed his last after prolonged illness at the Indira Gandhi Medical College (IGMC), Shimla at 3.40 am on Thursday.

PM Modi to visit Varanasi this month, to inaugurate projects worth over Rs 400 crore
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to gift 65 new projects worth Rs 421.54 crore to the people of Varanasi, which is his parliamentary constituency, on his next visit to the holy city. The new gifts from the Prime Minister include a Central Institute for Petrochemicals Engineering and Technology (CIPET).
