J&K: Top LeT commander, Pak accomplice killed during encounter in Srinagar

A Pakistani terrorist and one top Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) commander Nadeem Abrar were killed in an encounter in the Parimpora area of Jammu and Kashmir, the police said on Tuesday. Giving details of the incident, a police spokesman said Abrar -- a top commander of LeT involved in many killings -- was arrested during checking of vehicles at Parimpora on Monday and put on sustained interrogation.

Kolkata: Vaccination camp organised for empowering sex workers in Sonagachi

The Durbar Mahila Samanwaya Committee, in association with Kolkata Municipal Corporation on Monday organised a vaccination camp for empowering sex workers at Sonagachi in Kolkata. Bishakha Laskar, committee chief told ANI, "Vaccination is their only hope against COVID. Around 300 sex workers have been vaccinated."

Delhi: As cases fall, state govt asks hospitals to reduce number of Covid beds
