10 vials of Amphotericin B stolen from Bengaluru hospital; complaint against medical staff, doctors

Amid a rise in patients of black fungus, vials of Amphotericin B, used for treatment of Mucormycosis, have reportedly been stolen from a hospital in Bengaluru. According to the details, as many as vials of Amphotericin B have been stolen from a locker at the ward of black fungus. The incident occurred late on May 30. Meanwhile, Resident Medical Officer at Victoria Hospital has filed a complaint in this regard, against the medical staff and doctors at the hospital.

Google claims new IT rules not applicable to its search engine: Delhi HC seeks Centre's stand

GST was notified with horrendous rates of tax: Chidambaram slams Centre

Congress leader P. Chidambaram has slammed the union government for converting the GST to a bad law, saying it was notified with horrendous rates of tax. In a statement on Wednesday, Chidambaram said, "GST started as a good idea, BJP converted it into a bad law. It was notified with horrendous rates of tax." He said the law was applied as though tax-collecting officers were hounds hunting foxes and every businessperson was suspected to be a tax evader, the GST Council was reduced to a talking shop.

3.32 lakh testing in 24 hours: 'Yogi Model' in focus as active cases fall below 30,000; recovery at 97%

The T3 model (Test-Trace-Treat) of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to deal with the Covid-19 second wave has yielded positive results. The state's active caseload fell below 30,000 for the first time in two months. According to the government data, there are 28,000 active cases in the state and the recovery rate has jumped to 97.1 per cent.
