Kerala extends COVID-19 lockdown till June 9, with some relaxations

Kerala Government on Sunday extended the lockdown restrictions till June 9 in all its districts. "Special intensified stringent restrictions enforced in the district of Malappuram will cease to exist from 00:00 of May 30. Thereafter the lockdown restrictions shall be uniform in all districts of the state," according to an official order.

India receives consignment of 200,000 Amphotericin B doses used in black fungus treatment

A consignment of 200,000 AmBisome (Amphotericin B injection), used in black fungus treatment reached India early on Sunday. Government School Teachers Association (GSTA) on Saturday demanded Delhi government salaries for the dependents of COVID-deceased teachers who are too young to be eligible for compensatory jobs till they become old enough to be eligible.
