Maharashtra has declared six states -- Delhi NCR, Kerala, Goa, Gujarat, Rajasthan and Uttarakhand as places of sensitive origin. The state government has also made it mandatory for all passengers coming from these states to produce a Covid-19 negative report to gain entry into the state.
The next three weeks are crucial for India in terms of the spread of COVID-19, said Dr Rakesh Mishra, Director of CSIR- CCMB (Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology) on Sunday, adding that it is very important for people to follow guidelines very strictly. Mishra emphasised that people must follow the guidelines very strictly to prevent themselves from being infected with COVID-19.
The Chhattisgarh government has mandated a COVID-19 test for all passengers at airports, railway stations, bus stands and inter-state borders coming to the state amid the increasing number of coronavirus infections. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Sunday reviewed the current status of coronavirus infection in 10 districts of the state, preventive measures and arrangements made for the treatment of patients in a virtual meeting held at his residence office. 
Cases were registered against two hospitals in Delhi on Sunday for turning away COVID-19 patients, a day after Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal warned them of strict action if found giving wrong information about the availability of beds. Complaints about filing the FIRs against the hospitals under the Disaster Management Act was earlier filed by the Delhi government at police stations concerned, an official said.
