Ward boy in MP Hospital caught on CCTV removing oxygen mask, COVID patient dies

Amidst increasing coronavirus cases, when healthcare should be a saving grace, a hospital in MP's Shivpuri caused the death of a corona patient. Corona patient Surendra Sharma was admitted to the corona ward of a hospital in Shivpuri. Late at night, the ward boy removed his oxygen mask and caused his death. He was caught on CCTV footage removing the oxygen mask in the presence of other patients.

Remdesivir production to be ramped up to 78 lakh, prices to be cut: Govt

Amid reports of shortage of Remdesivir in various parts of the country as Covid-19 situation deteriorates, the government has given approval for stepping up the manufacturing capacity of the drug. According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Remdesivir production will be enhanced to around 78 lakh vials per month.
