Mukhtar Ansari denied food, water during Punjab-UP transfer, alleges brother

Alleging inhuman treatment towards gangster-turned-politician Mukhtar Ansari, his brother on Wednesday said Ansari was not given water and food while he was being transferred to Banda jail from Punjab. It could have been better had he been shot dead at a crossing, Mukhtar Ansari's brother said.

COVID-19: Sharad Pawar gets second dose of vaccination

Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar received the second dose of vaccine against COVID-19 at his residence in Mumbai on Wednesday (April 7), on the occasion of the World Health Day. A statement from the party said, the 80-year-old NCP leader got the first dose on March 1.

Naxals release picture of CRPF commando who went missing after Bijapur gunfight

AIIMS temporarily restricts walk-in OPD registrations amid Covid-19 surge
