Bijapur naxal attack claims lives of 22 jawans; Shah cuts short Assam poll campaign, assures 'befitting reply'

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday said a befitting reply will be given to the Naxal attack in Chhatisgarh at an appropriate time. He also said search operations are continuing in Chhattisgarh following the encounter.

Ayodhya sadhu bludgeoned to death in sleep, body sent for post mortem

Mahant Kanhaiya Das of the Hanuman Garhi temple was found dead at a Gaushala in Charanpaduka temple in Ayodhya. He was apparently bludgeoned to death in his sleep by unidentified assailants. Das was also the head of Gulchaman Baag of Basantia Patti.

Bihar govt orders closure of schools, colleges till April 11

Bihar government has announced the closure of all schools, colleges, and coaching institutions till April 11 amid rising coronavirus cases across the state.
