President Kovind's health improves post bypass surgery; shifted from ICU

President Ram Nath Kovind was on Saturday shifted from the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to a special room at the All India Institute Of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) hospital after undergoing bypass surgery earlier this week. In a tweet, the Rashtrapati Bhawan said, "His health has been improving continuously. Doctors are constantly monitoring his condition and have advised him to take rest."

CBI searches 4 locations in Hyderabad, Delhi linked to Golden Jubilee Hotels

Vaccine hesitancy levels down to 23%

As the Covid second wave is getting stronger in India, the percentage of citizens willing to take the vaccine has gone up to 77 percent, as per a LocalCircles survey. With almost 90,000 daily cases, and vaccination for all above the age of 45 years beginning on April 1, hesitancy levels are down to 23 percent.
