Bihar: Leaves of doctors, health workers cancelled till April 5

In view of the rising number of COVID-19 cases, Bihar Health Department on Friday cancelled the leaves of all doctors and health workers till April 5.

Maharashtra: Private offices, theatres to operate at 50% capacity - Check latest Covid guidelines

The Maharashtra government has issued fresh guidelines for private offices, cinema halls and auditoriums to operate in view of the rising graph of coronavirus in the state. The government has asked all private offices to function at 50 per cent capacity. Also, all drama theatres and auditoriums have been asked to operate on 50% capacity and people without mask be barred from entering the premises.

Punjab shuts schools, colleges till March 31 amid surge in Covid cases - Check new restrictions

The Congress government in Punjab has ordered massive restrictions in the state following a spurt in coronavirus cases. The government has ordered all educational institutions, other than medical and nursing colleges, to remain closed till March 31. Cinema halls have been asked to operate with 50 per cent capacity and not more than 100 persons in a mall at any time. The new restrictions will come into effect from Saturday (March 20).

Gurugram meat shops asked to remain shut on Tuesdays

The Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG) has issued an order wherein it asked meat shops in the city to remain closed on Tuesdays. The decision was taken during its House meeting on Thursday. The proposal to close meat shops on every Tuesday was approved after a few councillors raised the issue.
