Gurugram meat shops asked to remain shut on Tuesdays

The Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG) has issued an order wherein it asked meat shops in the city to remain closed on Tuesdays. The decision was taken during its House meeting on Thursday. The proposal to close meat shops on every Tuesday was approved after a few councillors raised the issue.

Power restored at Mantralaya building in Mumbai after brief outrage

After a brief power outage at Maharashtra Secretariat Building on Friday, the electricity supply was restored in seven minutes. The outrage occurred due to high voltage at Nariman Point receiving point. The power supply to Mantralaya, Fourshore Road, and Maharshi Karve Road was cut off at 11.55 am due to a fault in the feeder.

Loudspeakers for Azaan banned in Prayagraj from 10 PM to 6 AM days after controversy

Delhi records minimum temperature of 19.4 deg C

Delhi on Friday recorded a minimum temperature of 19.4 degrees Celsius, the highest of this season so far, the India Meteorological Department said. The maximum temperature is likely to settle around 34 degrees Celsius and there's a possibility of drizzle during the day, it said.
