J&K: 'PIA' marked aeroplane-shaped balloon seized in Hiranagar

An aeroplane-shaped balloon with 'PIA' printed on it was found in Jammu and Kashmir. According to the local police, the balloon was found in Sotra Chak village of Hiranagar sector on Tuesday. The balloon has now been seized by the police.

Weather to remain erratic till March 15 in Jammu and Kashmir

Rain and snow lashed Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday as the meteorological (MeT) department said the weather would remain erratic till March 15. "Weather to remain erratic till March 15th. Expect intermittent rain with thunderstorms and snow over higher reaches mainly during 11-13th. Erratic weather may affect Banihal-Ramban, Zojila highways due to landslide, snowslide, etc.

Narendra, who does not hold any official position in Bharatiya Kisan Union, formed by his father in 1986, and mostly focusses on the family's farming activities but is as vocal on issues concerning farmers as his two elder brothers Naresh and Rakesh Tikait who are leading from the front in the agitation that has been continuing for more than 100 days.

R-Day Red Fort violence: Two, including Dutch national arrested while trying to flee India

In a fresh development in connection with the Red Fort violence on January 26, the Delhi police have arrested two more people, one of whom was trying to flee the country. Those arrested were identified as Maninderjit Singh and Khempreet Singh. With these arrests, the total number of people arrested in connection with the Red Fort violence has now reached fourteen.
