The meeting, held on Saturday evening, was presided over by BJP''s national vice president and former Chhattisgarh chief minister Raman Singh, who arrived here on Saturday afternoon. Singh was accompanied by state BJP in-charge Dushyant Kumar Gautam.

Farmers' protest to continue till rollback of three agri laws: Rakesh Tikait
Farmer leader Rakesh Tikait has said their agitation will continue till the three contentious agriculture laws are withdrawn. He was speaking in Ramrajn town here to mark the completion of 100 days of farmers' protests at the Delhi borders against the central farm legislations.

Govt ready to amend new farm laws; opposition playing politics at cost of agri-economy: Tomar
Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar on Saturday said the government is ready to amend three new farm laws to respect the sentiments of protesting farmers, even as he attacked opposition parties for doing politics on this issue at the cost of the agriculture economy and by hurting farmers' interest. Addressing the 5th national convention of Agrivision, the Union minister said the government has held 11 rounds of talks with farmer unions and has even offered to amend these laws.

Delhi air quality 'moderate' today
Air quality in Delhi is in the 'moderate' category on Sunday morning. The air quality index (AQI) was 159 according to the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting And Research (SAFAR). The AQI will marginally deteriorate to the "Moderate to Poor category" on Monday and Tuesday.

India records highest single-day vaccination figures at 11.6 lakh
India recorded the highest vaccination on Saturday, the 50th day of immunization, achieving a total of 11,64,422 vaccine doses till 7 p.m. in a day, said the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. 9,44,919 beneficiaries were vaccinated for the first dose while 2,19,503 healthcare workers and frontline workers received the second dose of vaccine as per the provisional report. Final reports would be completed for the day by late night on Saturday, the ministry added.
