Mercury likely to rise in Delhi; IMD forecasts light rain on Sunday
The maximum temperature in Delhi is likely to rise by three to four degrees Celsius in the next few days, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Saturday. Light rain and winds gusting up to 40 kilometers per hour are predicted in the city on Sunday under the influence of a fresh Western Disturbance affecting the hilly region, it said.

Delhi records 321 coronavirus cases; death toll reaches 10,919
Delhi recorded as many as 321 fresh coronavirus cases on Saturday. With this, the tally of COVID-19 cases in the national capital has reached over 6.40 lakh, while the death toll mounted to 10,919. One fatality has been recorded in the last 24 hours, according to the latest bulletin issued by the Delhi health department.

Jalandhar imposes night curfew amid surge in Covid cases
Night curfew will be enforced in Punjab's Jalandhar from Saturday (March 6) till further notice, amid the recent surge in coronavirus cases in the district. The curfew will remain in place in the district between 11 pm and 5 am, said Deputy Commissioner Ghanshyam Thori.
