No COVID-19 vaccine to pvt hospitals if rules flouted: Goa govt

The Goa health department has warned of discontinuing the supply of COVID-19 vaccines to the private hospitals which are found to be inoculating people who are not healthcare workers. Besides various state-run facilities, around half-a-dozen private hospitals in Goa have also been empanelled to administer the COVID-19 vaccine to their healthcare workers and IMA members, since the drive began on January 16.

UP BJP MLA gets threat messages from Pakistan

Gujarat: Sanitation worker dies hours after getting COVID-19 vaccine

A 30-year-old sanitation worker died around two hours after being administered a coronavirus vaccine in Gujarat's Vadodara on Sunday, following which authorities ordered a postmortem to ascertain the exact cause of his death, officials said. While the family members of the deceased said they suspect that the COVID-19 vaccine was the reason behind his sudden death, officials said he might have died due to a heart attack as he had a history of heart disease since 2016 and was not taking medicines.

Odisha: 10 killed, 15 injured as pick-up van overturns in Koraput; PM expresses grief
