Jammu and Kashmir: 2 Jaish terrorists, 4 terrorist associates held

Two newly recruited terrorists and four terrorist associates of Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) and its offshoot Lashkar-e-Mustafa (LeM) were arrested in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday, police said. Acting on specific inputs regarding terrorist attacks being planned in Anantnag and Bijbehara towns by the LeM, the police along with the Army established special checking points at multiple locations and conducted intensive checking, a police spokesperson said.

67-yr-old man shot dead by estranged son-in-law: Police

A 68-year-old man was shot dead allegedly by his estranged son-in-law in the wee hours on Saturday at his home under the Loni Police Station area, Ghaziabad police said. The incident took place on around 3 am on Saturday when Kotwalpur village resident Sheoraj Singh's son-in-law Trilok Singh reached his father-in-law’s house along with his three friends in a drunken state and banged at his door, Ghaziabad’s Superintendent of Police (Rural) Iraj Raja said.
