'Long kept secret': Top ISRO scientist Tapan Misra claims he was poisoned 3 years ago

A top ISRO scientist on Tuesday claimed he was poisoned more than three years ago. Tapan Misra alleged he was poisoned with deadly arsenic trioxide on May 23, 2017, during a promotion interview at ISRO headquarters in Bengaluru. "Fatal dose was probably mixed" with chutney along with Dosa, in snacks after lunch, he said.

Govt reviewing situation, has allowed limited resumption of India-UK flights: Hardeep Singh Puri

Union Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri on Tuesday said that the government is reviewing the situation and it has allowed limited resumption of civil aviation with the United Kingdom. "We took a decision on limited resumption of civil aviation traffic between India and the United Kingdom-based on an assessment of available facts as available with our medical professionals. We decided that RT-PCR test which was done 72 hours ahead of travelling was not enough," Puri said.
