Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday is set to deliver the inaugural address at the National Metrology Conclave, via video conferencing at 11 am. The theme of the conclave is 'Metrology for the Inclusive Growth of the Nation'. Union Minister for Science and Technology, Earth Sciences, Dr. Harsh Vardhan will also be present on the occasion.

Fire erupts at engine of New Delhi-Bengaluru Rajdhani Express train

New supply of office space down 30-35 pc in 2020 amid pandemic: Reports

The fresh supply of office space fell 30-35 per cent year-on-year in 2020 across major cities mainly on lower demand because of the COVID-19 pandemic, according to property consultants JLL and Savills. While JLL India reported that the new supply of office space across seven major cities declined 30 per cent to 36.34 million sq ft in 2020 from 51.62 million sq ft in the previous year, the UK-based Savills said fresh supply dropped to 30.6 million sq ft from 47.1 million sq ft across six big cities.

Maharashtra: Mantralaya staff reporting late for work to face action

The employees of the Mantralaya, the Maharashtra government's administrative headquarters in Mumbai, who report late for work more than twice in a month will have to face action in the form of deduction of leave or loss of pay, a state order has said.
