62 per cent of cybercrime complaints in 2020 linked to financial frauds: Delhi Police

Sixty-two per cent of the cybercrime complaints lodged in 2020 were related to financial frauds, police said in a statement. The Delhi Police said a spurt was witnessed in incidents of cybercrime during the coronavirus lockdown.

Jharkhand government approves loan waiver for marginal farmers

The Hemant Soren government in Jharkhand has decided to waive farm loans up to Rs 50,000. The decision was taken during a Cabinet meeting on Wednesday which was presided over by the CM. The decision will benefit nearly 7.61 lakh farmers of the state who borrowed loans between April 1, 2014 and March 31, 2020.

Karnataka: BMTC, KSRTC, autorickshaws, cabs to operate during night curfew

As the Karnataka government announced night curfew across the state, Transport Minister Laxman Savadi on Thursday said that the buses of Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation and Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation will operate during night curfew. Besides, autorickshaws and cabs will also be allowed to continue their services between 11 pm and 5 am.
