Foundation stone for Ayodhya mosque to be laid on R-Day; blueprint this week

The blueprint of the mosque to replace the Babri Masjid will be unveiled this Saturday and its foundation laid on Republic Day on the five-acre land allotted for it here, members of the Trust formed for its construction said.

India ranks 131 in UNDP's Human Development Index. Norway tops index; Check other top 10 nations

India dropped one spot to 131 among 189 countries in the 2020 human development index, released by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). Meanwhile, Bhutan (129), Bangladesh (133), Nepal (142), and Pakistan (154) are the other nations ranked among countries with medium human development.

WATCH: Under-construction pillar falls on pedestrian in Rajasthan's Bharatpur, leaves him seriously injured

 A person sustained serious injuries after an under-construction pillar in a market in Rajasthan's Bharatpur fell on him while he was passing by from below. The horrific video tweeted by news agency ANI shows two men walking by before getting hit by the collapse. While one man got hit but managed to escape the impact, the other passerby fell on the road after the pillar fell on him.
