Antibodies build up 14 days after second dose of Covaxin: Anil Vij after testing COVID positive

Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij on Sunday said before being given the first dose in the phase 3 trial of Bharat Biotech's coronavirus vaccine, he was told by the doctors that antibodies in the human body build up 14 days after getting the second dose. The minister has tested positive for the novel coronavirus. Vij had offered to be the first volunteer in the phase three trials for Covaxin, an indigenous potential vaccine against COVID-19 being developed by Bharat Biotech in collaboration with the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).

UP first state to test 2 crore Covid samples

Delhi wakes up to shallow fog with dip in temperature; air quality 'very poor'

Delhiites woke up to shallow fog on Sunday as the temperature dropped in the city, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said. According to the IMD, a minimum temperature of 13° Celsius and a maximum of 26° Celsius are on the forecast for today. On Saturday, the national capital had recorded a maximum temperature of 25.4 ° Celsius, normal for this time of the year while a minimum temperature was recorded at 14.8 ° Celsius, a five-degree departure from the normal.

Recoveries outnumber new Covid cases in Delhi, positivity rates falls to 4%

The positivity rate of Covid-19 cases in the national capital has fallen further to around 4 per cent after the Delhi tested over 80,000 tests in the last 24 hours. The capital city tested 81,473 samples, of which, 3,149 turned out positive while 4,916 people recovered from the Covid-19 on Saturday.
