'Factually incorrect': India denounces OIC for Pakistan-sponsored references to Kashmir in resolutions

India on Sunday strongly hit out at the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) for making factually incorrect and unwarranted references to Jammu and Kashmir in resolutions adopted by the grouping at a meeting in Niger, and asserted that the union territory is an integral and inalienable part of the country.

Archaeological Survey of India caps online ticket booking to Taj Mahal. Check details

Planning a visit to the Taj Mahal? As per a revised rule, you can book a maximum of five tickets for adults and three for children. Earlier, a person could book up to 20 tickets online for the Taj Mahal. The decision has been taken to curb the black-marketing of tickets to the Taj Mahal, the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has said.

India records 38,772 single-day COVID cases, 443 deaths; tally crosses 94 lakh-mark

India's COVID-19 caseload crossed the 94-lakh mark on Monday, while the number of people who have recuperated from the disease crossed 88,47,000, pushing the national recovery rate to 93.81 per cent, according to the Union Health Ministry data. The total coronavirus cases mounted to 94,31,692 with 38,772 new infections being reported in a day, while the death toll climbed to 1,37,139 with 443 new fatalities, the data updated at 8 am showed.

Will have safe, effective homemade vaccine in few months: Harsh Vardhan

Stating that a clear picture on COVID-19 vaccine will emerge by the first few months of 2021, Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan said that by June-July, almost 30 crore people will get a scientifically approved, safe and efficacious vaccine, adding that experts are currently busy chalking out plans on how to roll out the distribution of the vaccine in the country.

Rajasthan imposes night curfew in 13 districts till December 31 after spurt in Covid cases

The Rajasthan government has imposed a night curfew from 8 pm to 6 am within urban limits of 13 district headquarter towns. The towns are Kota, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Udaipur, Ajmer, Alwar, Bhilwara, Nagore, Pali, Tonk, Sikar and Ganganagar. The restridctions will remain in place from December 1 to 31.
