Bengaluru: Students, teachers should present COVID negative result for college classes. Details here

Bengaluru has allowed the reopening of colleges and only those students and teachers who test COVID-19 negative would be allowed for classes, as per when the colleges reopen. In a Monday statement, Bruhat Bengaluru Mahangara Palika Commissioner N. Manjunatha Prasad said, "As per the guidelines and standard operating procedure of the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the state government, students, teachers and staff will be allowed to enter the college only if their Covid test is negative."

A grace time of two more days has been given to more than 68,000 vehicle owners to clear their penalties. In an order, Andhra Pradesh's Prakasam district police said 68,943 vehicles owners should clear their penalties or else face legal action. Siddhartha Kaushal, Prakasam district Superintendent of Police (SP), said, "1.51 lakh vehicles have been levied a penalty of Rs 4.6 crore for violating rules in 2020 so far."
