Jammu and Kashmir: 2G mobile Internet service extended in 18 out of 20 districts till Nov 26

Andhra Pradesh to receive rains, thunderstorms for next 3 days

The Met department has forecast thunderstorms and light rains in parts of Andhra Pradesh from Friday to Monday. Similar weather conditions are going to prevail in parts of Srikakulam, Yanam and Rayalaseema districts as well, it said. Consistent with the forecast of heavy rainfall at isolated places in south coastal Andhra Pradesh, there was heavy rain in Nellore town, leading to many parts getting inundated in rain water.

Jharkhand allows bursting of firecrackers for 2 hours on Diwali

Jharkhand's pollution control body, in an order, has said locals can burst crackers for two hours between 8 pm and 10 pm on the day of Diwali. In the urban areas of several districts including Ranchi where the pollution level is moderate, only green crackers will be allowed, as per the November 9 ruling of the National Green Tribunal.
