Kejriwal reviews meeting on Health Information Management System, e-Health card facilities for Delhi residents

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday convened a meeting and directed the health officials to ensure the implementation of the Health Information Management System (HIMS), and e-Health card in the hospitals of the Delhi government. The Health Information Management System (HIMS) will be implemented to provide effective healthcare services to the residents of Delhi, in the most efficient manner, through technologically empowered healthcare processes.

Coronavirus: India second in world in testing; positivity rate down at 7.18 per cent, says govt

India has conducted the second-highest number of tests for detection of COVID-19 in the world at 11.96 crore with rapid antigen tests comprising 49 per cent and RT-PCR 46 per cent of the total tests done till Tuesday morning, the Union Health Ministry said.

UP govt bans fire crackers in 13 districts; green crackers allowed in better air quality districts

The Uttar Pradesh government on Tuesday announced that the sale and bursting of firecrackers will be banned in 13 districts, located in or near National Capital Region, from midnight November 9 to midnight November 30. Yogi Adityanath government took this decision in the wake of deteriorating air quality in districts -- Muzaffarnagar, Agra, Varanasi, Meerut, Hapur, Ghaziabad, Kanpur, Lucknow, Moradabad, Noida, Greater Noida, Baghpat, and Bulandshahr.
