Delhi's air quality 'very poor' for fourth consecutive day

The air quality in the national capital remained in the 'very poor' category for the fourth consecutive day on Tuesday, as per the data from the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) on Tuesday. The hourly average AQI as per the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) was 371 in Delhi today. Areas around ITO, Commonwealth Games Village and Pragati Maidan were engulfed in heavy smog early morning.

With 38,310 new cases, India's COVID-19 caseload nears 83 lakh, recovery rate reaches 91.96%

India's COVID-19 caseload on Tuesday inched closer to 83 lakh, while the number of people who have recuperated from the disease surged to 76 lakh, pushing the national recovery rate to 91.96 per cent, according to the Union Health Ministry data.
