Earthquake jolts Arunachal Pradesh's Changlang

An earthquake of 4.2 magnitude on the Richter scale hit a district of Arunachal Pradesh on Wednesday. According to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS), tremors were felt at 1:25 am, in Changlang.

India's 50% population may be infected with coronavirus by February 2021, govt panel says

At least half of India's population might be infected with the novel coronavirus by February 2021, a government committee tasked with providing projections told news agency Reuters on Monday. The report, however, also mentioned that COVID-19 infections in India have been decreasing after a peak in mid-September.

First case of COVID-19-related brain nerve damage reported in child at AIIMS

The novel coronavirus has inflicted brain nerve damage in an 11-year-old girl, leading to a blurred vision. The first such case has been reported from the New Delhi-based All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), according to a report in the Hindustan Times. Meanwhile, doctors in the child neurology division are preparing a report on the girl's health condition.
