Indian Railways cancels these trains due to farmers' agitation. Check list

The Northern Railway has cancelled, short-terminated and diverted some trains in view of the farmers' agitation in Punjab against farm bills. The farmers have been demanding that the three farm laws passed by Parliament recently be repealed. They have also expressed apprehension that the new laws will pave a way for the dismantling of the minimum support price system, leaving them at the "mercy" of big corporates.

Bengaluru court officials receive bomb threat letters with detonator-like equipment

Two separate letters threatening to plant bombs in the city court as well as in the Bengaluru police's office to eliminate people who are probing the Sandalwood drugs case, as well as the Bengaluru riots case, were received by police and court officials late on Monday. The police reportedly seized detonator-like equipment found in both letters.

All outsourced employees of Haryana to get full lockdown dues despite no attendance

The Haryana government said that "full payment" of wages and salaries will be made to all employees, including contractual, outsourced, or person engaged through Haryana State Electronics Development Corporation Limited (HARTRON) and any other outsourcing machanism, for the entire duration of COVID-19 lockdown period, weather no attendance has been recorded or no work has been performed by them.

'Struggle for Article 370 restoration will continue': Farooq Abdullah after ED's 7 hours questioning

The Enforcement Directorate on Monday questioned former Jammu and Kashmir CM Farooq Abdullah, 82, for nearly seven hours in connection with alleged irregularities in the Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association. The National Conference leader later issued a spirited statement wherein he declared that the struggle for Article 370 restoration in Jammu and Kashmir will continue whether Farooq is alive or dead.

5-member family attempts self immolation outside Vidhan Bhavan in Lucknow

Five members of a Barabanki-based family attempted to immolate themselves due to financial distress outside the high-security Vidhan Bhavan building on Monday but were prevented by police personnel present there before they could set themselves ablaze. The Vidhan Bhavan houses the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council.

Delhi: Resident doctors of NDMC hospitals meet mayor, give 7-point demand
