J&K: Terrorist killed in encounter with security forces in Anantnag

At least one terrorist was killed after an encounter between terrorists and security forces broke out in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday. The gunfight was reported from Larnoo area of Anantnag in the Union Territory.

Two, including 12-year-old boy, killed as fire engulfs Kolkata residential building

Two persons, including a 12-year-old boy, were killed in a fire that broke out in a five-storeyed residential building at Ganesh Chandra Avenue here on Friday night, officials said. All the other residents of the building have been rescued and the fire is, at present, under control, State Fire Services Minister Sujit Bose said.
